The Papier Exhibition was finished on 7/3/2010. Thanks for all visitors and guests coming to the exhibition.

Wendy Wong was exhibiting her recent works in her “Stitches with Love…” series. There were 5 works exhibiting in the show.  Apart from “Together… (2)” and “Together… (3)”, 3 new works named “Not Entirely Severed” (1) and (2) and “Shared “I”" respectively. She would like to present her work with more contrast between paper and thread. Thus, she nailed her works  with wooden frames, in order to create the tension between the paper and the thread and also to strengthen the tension and the feeling of suffering of those eyes. Because of “love”, eyes were stitched up. Because of “love”, human relationship become complicated. That’s the message that the works were telling to audiences.

Cat was exhibiting 2 works by using recycled paper. She wanted to show her life in an office. Those materials were from her office. Her works named “Deadline” and “Missing Home” respectively. Cat expressed her life as an OL in a funny way.She presented her work, “Deadline”, with the negative spaces of some “missing” stationaries. “Missing Home” is a set of recycled paper bowls and some ready made objects.

It is glad that to share the following photos with you all online. Please enjoy.
